Entrance:
Added a little more supplies at the beginning of the map, makes it less frustrating.
Fixed the door that lets you move to the second "Level", it was unlocked even without picking up the battery or pressing the Larger Button to unlock it.
Removed the only Rescue Closet on the map.
Fixed the door that located in a dark area on upper level on "Level Two" so it couldn't be opened from the outside.
Added Instructor Hints for Battery and what the Larger Button does.
New texture for the Larger Buttons.
Removed "Lights" here and there.

Recreation Room:
Improved the Elevator transition between "Level Three" and "Level Four" so its more obvious to where to go.
Switched the Small Button in the "Sleeping Quarters" with a Large Button and applied a new texture for it.
At the "Basement" area where the Smaller Button is "hidden", added a "glowing texture" so it will be easier to find it.

Med. Lab:
Texture added for the Larger Button.

Texture added for the Larger Button.

=========

This is the Alien Trilogy Campaign for Left 4 Dead 2 that is based on the Alien Trilogy game that was released for MS-DOS, Sega Saturn and the Playstation (1996) system.

This campaign includes the following

The Levels
Two levels has been combined into one big map to save space and make the maps longer. This campaign only contains the First Sector of the original game. Puzzles has been modified to a bit that keeps the flow of the original gameplay of L4D2 to an certain extent.

Custom Textures.
I have borrowed textures from PHILIPK's website http://www.philipk.net/index.html (go to textures and look for the first Texture Set) and i cut and pasted parts from different textures and modified them and pieced those together to save time, but there are some that i made from scratch. There are also textures that I've extracted from the latest Alien vs Predator (2010) as well.

Custom Special Infected Skins.
I have used H.R. Gigers http://www.hrgiger.com/ own artwork to create these skins, whoever says that i "ripped" them from AVP 2 is an idiot and should be shot on sight, because that would be an insult to Giger himself.

Custom Soundtrack and Sound Effects.
These things are taken DIRECTLY from the original game. I have a retail copy of the game for the Playstation. Ripping the soundtrack was easy, the sound effects was more tricky to get, had to record that while playing the game and time everything.
The Soundtrack is not Included at the moment,L4D2 has an issue with the soundscapes at this time, will include that when i know when its fixed.

Custom Models
There are custom models From AVP 2, that is the facehugger and the Egg. You can see the Facehugger at the Intro and that's it. That is the only model that has the animations for it. I have more, what to do with them is another story. I decided to include the Queen at the finale, it felt appropriate.
The Pulserifle wouldn't work properly because i don't know what the fuck i am doing at times, sound effects worked though....

Finale is bugged. After clicking the pulse rifle nothing happens, door won't open. Maps are all repetitive and endless corridors. It's all just running around finding power buttons. Map 4 is the worst, no clues on what to do or where to find battery (behind boxes).

Don't care what other people say, this is an exact "port" of the game, and is also my childhood, really amazing!

Pros:

Survivors/Special infected have custom skins
The detail of this campaign was brilliant
Very long chapters

Cons:

Chapter 3 was glitched. To open the door we had to turn on the power switches. There was no indication of how many we had to turn on, so after wandering the room for what seemed like an hour, we turned on all the switches we could find (around 10), and the door still wouldn't open. Got very irritating so we went back to the lobby and skipped the chapter.

Chapter 4 was just as bad. We had to get a battery to open the door. After looking around for a while we couldn't find a battery to open the door.

Conclusion:

What seemed like a very promising campaign turned out to be a huge disappointment because of the glitched chapters.

Pros:

Custom skins
Dark theme stays true to the Alien movie
Breakable walls add to dynamic effect and exploration

Cons:

Chapter 3 - turned all power switches on, the main gate never opened by the tanks.
Chapter 4 - no battery to put into switch at start of level

Conclusion:

Good effects but buggy game makes this not enjoyable after chapter 2

Pros:

Awesome
Extremely detailed- just an ungodly amount
Dark, gritty graphics added to the atmosphere
Custom everything
Special infected skins are epic
Custom survivor skins
Very difficult; great team challenge
Very long; took us over 3 hours
The supply distribution overall was quite impressive, it was cleverly and skillfully done
Incredible artistic work, beautiful in its own way
Excellent layout- extremely extensive, but still doable and able to be figured out
Magnums, yay!
Breakable boxes, sometimes with items inside them
Various rooms
Extremely varied chapters, each with wholly unique elements
Queen model, alien egg models
Cave theme is quite underdone, but quite well done here
Exploding barrels yeahhh
Switches are easy to identify
CI and SI spawning are excellent

Cons:

First and second levels NEED direction; we only got through it because at least one teammate was dead and spectating
Safe rooms bugged- players who didn't survive would spawn outside of them
Finale was glitched out- stand in front of the door
Difficulty might be too much for some
Dark atmosphere might be too much for some
Length might be too much for some- 6 very long maps
Safe rooms contain no items- not an issue personally

Conclusion:

Wow!! Phenomenal map!! Simply amazing, I'm telling everyone about this one.

Expert recommendation is spot-on; the supply of defibs was clearly intended for those playing in expert realism, and thank you for all those (we needed them). The amount of magnums, too, really made this approachable.

The staggering amount of custom elements in this map really set it apart and make it visually impressive, but the clever layout and gameplay design seal this map as a truly great map. You're an excellent map maker, keep up the good work.

Has the external link vanished? I can't find it anywhere and I'd really like xenomorph type SI... Where is it?

Pros:

+ Alien Trilogy!
+ Perfect Alient Trilogy level reconstruction
+ Puzzles
+ L4D1 characters!
+ Custom character skins!
+ Custom alien models for special infected
+ Custom prop models (alien eggs, switches, etc)
+ Hard enough
+ Random loot from crates (I & my friends once got a grenade launcher from the very first crate in chapter 1 lol)
+ Lots of good secrets with ammunition and guns!

Cons:

- Could actually use alien models for zombies
- Level 4 is way too complicated, large and messy. Author could add some hints in game instructor like other mapmakers do. There were hints in original game where to go, btw.
- AI flaw: survivor bots are retards
- AI flaw: sometime director spawns horde/special infected behind the locked doors and they can't reach you

Conclusion:

Well, I actually enjoyed the campaign, but some of my friends insisted on dropping it on level 4. We were running around level 4 about an hour. Yeah, we figured out what to do there, but that was exhausting. It also gets quite boring on leve 5, but finale was very nice. Anyway, you should really try levels 1-3 and finale, its worth it!

Pros:

========= In general =========
+ Good gameplay.
+ Items in destructable crates.
+ AI Navigation works pretty well.
+ Custom infected skins were acceptable.
+ Based on an actual existing game.
+ Also Tank skin was acceptable.
+ Long campaign.
+ Puzzles were not so difficult, but see Cons.
+ Destructable walls.
+ As redsf mentioned, good enemy balance.
+ Finale worked out pretty well.
+ Somehow loved the sharpened graphics.

Cons:

========= Map 4 =========
- AI sometimes get stuck close to pillars where items are placed.
- Had to skip this map, see Conclusion.
=======================

========= Miscellaneous =========
- Quite bad lighting.
- Can get boring sometimes.
============================

Conclusion:

Map 4: somehow didn't find the other necessary switch... I think there was one switch, where you had to tap 2 switches at the same time, for SP impossible.

Good campaign!

Pros:

-boxes that contain rarely supplies like the original
-character skins are awesome!
-destroyable walls/glass
-nice enemy balance
-very nice alien skins for special infected
-good idea with the frame-rate so it looks exactly like the original
-nice nebular escaping some pipes!
-map 6 hidden doors
-very nice designs(cocoons, alien queen and stuff)

Cons:

--to close to the original errors in many ways, the L4D2 engine can do so much better
--no tips were to go next, that sucks very hard!
--lights are too dark
--your sight is to less, you see better when you're B&W(close to die, fallen 3 times)?!

-NO TANKS TILL MAP 6?!
-bots are kinda stupid
-map 3 is way to easy
-map 4 nearly impossible to play without tips.
-map 6 has a nice idea with the hidden doors, but hard to find out without tips(hidden to well)!
-witches are stupid as hell
-witches, tanks have too less hit-points even for easy

Conclusion:

Well, I like it because it makes the same real scary atmosphere as the original!
There are many nicely done designs in there, even if no facehuggers pop out of the cocoons(may add jockeys popping out of them)

I don't have troubles to play it on easy, but less experienced players sure will in the first tow levels. Also I miss a tank badly in the first 5 levels. Also nearly impossible to find out what to do next, without the tips, that makes it a bit boring to play.

Would be nice of you to do a update, because the basics are nice!

please do this for L4D2 character rochelle, coach, nick, ellis

You could use "Survivor Swap" what enables swapping the L4D survivors with the L4D2 ones, and reverse.
Search it here on this site.
