1. New custom radial menu concept: MTEllisStories.
You can hear complete stories in any safe room.

2. Improved that longer Friendly Fire lines won't be interrupted by voice of pain.

3. When you deploy incendiary ammo or explosive ammo, survivors won't keep silence and always say their deploying lines.

4. Reused L4D2 survivor's lines of being pounced by Hunter at first level of Dead Center for L4D1 survivors.
Ellis will say "Hey, one of those things got her!" when Zoey is pounced by Hunter.
(Character Select Menu plugin exclusive update.)

5. Joined "falling to death" screaming into "ConceptPlayerDeath" for L4D2 survivors.

6. Joined "PlayerGrenadeCareful" for L4D2 survivors.
When a survivor is going to throw a grenade, other survivors will warn you "Be careful..." in case Witch is around.

7. Reduced the frequency of lines that picking up scavenge gas cans for L4D1 survivors.
You won't hear annoying "GOT IT GOT IT GOT IT GOT IT GOT IT" when they pick up yellow gas cans.

8. After defeating a tank, Louis will say wrong line: "That is for Bill!" at any campaign even though Bill is alive, but... (Thank Valve's little bug for giving me inspiration. LOL x ∞)

9. Removed unnecessary delay that a survivor saw another survivor was pounced by Hunter.
Survivor could react more precisely as soon as Hunter pounced their teammates.

10. Joined lacked "PlayerAlsoWarnSpecial" of Boomer, Hunter and Smoker for all survivors.
Survivors can more actively warn special infected along with their teammates.

11. ???
When you run after injured teammates to give them pain pills or adrenaline, survivors will actively say: "Here! You're gonna need this!"

12. Fixed "Survivor Spotted Far" for L4D1 survivors.
You can yell out their names if you are far away from them.

13. Fixed Nick's injured lines of Hard Rain.
He won't speak specific Hard Rain wounded lines in other campaigns anymore.

14. Fixed the lines of requesting healing for L4D1 survivors.
Injured bot survivors can request players for healing and wounded L4D1 survivors can ask L4D2 survivors for healing as well. Supporting CSM plugin!

15. Fixed the lines of thanks for getting items.
Survivors will thank their teammates who give them pills or adrenaline shot.

16. Fixed "SurvivorSpotted[SUPPLY]Auto[SURVIVOR]2" responses.
When survivors see the supplies which their teammates find first, they have some reactions to the supplies.

Attention:
1. Please remove any VPK addons which include talker files before you install Modified Talker. You could only use one talker addon at a time.

2. Known community campaigns will conflict with Modified Talker because they had own talker files.
Temporarily remove them if you are using Modified Talker.

1. Fixed crashed issue of Dead Air's level 3 for modded server having survivors above 4.

2. Double lines for radial menu of "Laugh", "Argh" before spamming fatigue disables these options.

3. Fixed dialogues of the Passing's elevator. Appreciate KillzNThrillz's help.

4. Recovered all Ellis' stories to official default probability.

5. Adjusted elevator dialogue of No Mercy so that survivor's conversations are more fluent.

6. Removed that players make friendly fire on bot survivors, they won't say friendly fire lines.

When you stay in safe room for a period of time, the survivor bots will ask: "You guys ready?"

11. Added "pouring a gas can" lines for community campaigns having scavenge finale.

12. When you pick up L4D2 exclusive guns like AK-47 or SPAS-12, you'll also hear survivor's lines of taking guns.

13. When L4D1 survivors grab a adrenaline they could use some pills lines like "Better grab everything I can", "Someone gonna need these".

14. Fixed that L4D1 survivor can't warn L4D1 special infected actively when they spot.

15. Reused L4D2 survivor's addresses at first level of Dead Center for L4D1 survivors.
Coach will say "Sir!" when he looks at Bill. Rochelle will also say "Hey, sharp dresser!" when she looks at Louis. (Character Select Menu plugin exclusive update.)

16. L4D1 survivors will say "Pills here!" when they find an adrenaline shot.
Because it doesn't have new or better line for them.

17. Fixed safe room dialogues in the Sacrifice.
You wouldn't interrupt dialogues anymore because of picking up weapons or using radial menu.

18. Fixed interrupted safe room dialogues in the Sacrifice because of official talker editor's casualness.
Those "then Any then Any then Any" saved lazy talker editor's time but broke many interesting lines.

19. Joined a few unused Crash Course lines for all L4D1 survivors.

20. Joined some lines of the Sacrifice into Crash Course for Bill.
You'll hear some new lines when he activates the generator.

21. Elevator dialogues of No Mercy remix!

22. Added any available "the Sacrifice" survivor's lines to normal dialogue.

23. Added "tolerant and forgiving bot survivors".
Bot survivors will be less sensitive to human player's friendly fire.

24. Vocalizing spamming fatigue.
The player spams an option of vocalizing radial menu will disable his abused option in single level, such as "Laugh", "Argh!" and "PlayerDeath".

1. Applied all available but unused lines to all dialogues of the Passing.
The most obvious thing is that you can hear new lines when picking up golf club or M60.

2. Fixed a missing reply of "vampire" dialogue which is between Coach and Francis in the Passing intro.

3. Added "Bots are also hurrah lol" when you cheer.

4. Added "Survivor Near Finale" when survivors are close to destination.

5. Fixed some wrong lines of Zoey.
She won't say "Anything for you, Louis." to Bill or Francis when they thank Zoey's help. lol

6. Added unused all Ellis' stories in the Passing.

7. Moved Ellis' "I'm Moron" story to tattoo store and replaced with "snow story" in safe room of C6M3.

8. Remix Ellis' story, "DLC1_C6M2_SafeRoomConvo20", when he is talking with Coach in safe room of C6M2.

9. Added "No laughing" if you are playing versus mode with Modified Talker.
Laughter in versus game always be considered as tease, especially Rochelle's bitch laughter.

10. Added "a song" at the microphone of Dark Carnival finale for Ellis.

11. Added "PlayerAlertGiveItemStopAnFirstAid" for L4D1 survivors.
When you run after an injured teammate with first aid kit, survivors will say: "Hold on, I got something for you."

12. Added that L4D2 survivors could call L4D1 survivor's names.
But only Ellis have complete lines, Nick can call Zoey, Rochelle can call Francis and Coach can't.

13. All L4D1 survivors can warn Charger, Jockey, Spitter with custom radial menu.

14. Fixed "Ammo here!", "First aid kit here!", "Pills here!", "Pipe bomb here!", "Molotov here!" when L4D1 survivors see these supplies.

15. Added "Ammo here!" when L4D1 survivors find an explosive ammunition or an incendiary ammunition.
Because it doesn't have new line for them.

16. Added unused lines "Grenade here!" when L4D1 survivors find a boomer bile bomb.
Because it doesn't have new line for them.

17. Added that Louis should say something when he picks up something.

18. Joined my past work "L4D Modified Talker v1.0" into L4D2 Modified Talker!
Now every L4D1 survivor has over 15 kinds of laughter.

19. New custom radial menu concept: "IHate"
You can hate everything when you act Francis.

20. Added missing everything about L4D2 for L4D1 survivors as many as possible.
Fixed that being jockeyed, touching spitter's goo, dialogues about defibrillator, chainsaw battle cry... If you didn't hear any new dialogues you expected, it means "you should blame L4D2 devs" and I couldn't help.
They have intention to exploit everything from L4D1 but they won't offer new lines. Shameless and greedy developers.

21. Fixed that Louis said "That is for Bill!" when he killed a Tank. This line only works in the Passing now.
Having been broken again by Valve! lol

22. Fixed that Hunter pounced screaming for L4D1 survivors.

23. Fixed a missing intro dialogue of the Sacrifice is between Francis and Bill.
Talker mistakes of tattoo store in the Passing happened AGAIN in the Sacrifice.

24. Added some surprises about Louis for Japanese Players.

1. Fixed that survivors say "guns here!" when they spot any melee weapons, such as baseball bats or fire axes.

2. Thanks for teammate's Healing.

3. Custom "SingTheSong" concept for Coach, Ellis and Rochelle in custom radial menu.
You can sing the songs anytime.

4. New replies of killing tank confirmation.
When survivors killed a tank, they'll say "that was close!" or something like that.

5. Added any available "the Passing" new lines to normal dialogues.
For example, when you find a first aid kit...

6. Fixed Nick's "greasy monkey" replies among Rochelle and Francis in the intro of the Passing.

8. Fixed captions displaying time of all Ellis' stories in the Passing.

9. Fixed the dialogues when Witch bride is chasing you in the Passing.
You could hear new lines, not merely past "Witch is chasing me!"

10. Fixed safe room dialogues in the Passing.
You wouldn't interrupt dialogues anymore because of picking up weapons or using radial menu.

11. Added "PlayerRemarkremark_caralarm" for L4D2 survivors.
The first survivor who sees an alarm car will warn his teammates in any campaign.

1. FIXED "Ammo here!"
You won't say "Weapons here!" anymore when you spot ammo piles.

2. Added dialogues about Witch:
Survivors will say "Reloading..." when you are near witch and reloading.
While hearing Witch, survivor may not only reply "Kill that light!"
As Survivors are too close to Witch, they will warn you with "Back up..."

3. Actively "You are welcome" replies.

4. Added "Healing Suggestion".
If your HP is below 40 and carrying a first aid kit, others will suggest: "You should heal up."

5. Removed unnecessary delay of radial menu option of "I'll save you".

6. FIXED Rochelle's annoying laughter to 5% probability.
(Improved on Modified Talker v3.248 )

7. Added panic event of "car alarm" to any custom campaign.
Survivors will swear loudly once anyone hits the alarm car.

8. Added words of falling down if you interrupt to help a incapacitated teammate.

9. Improved dialogues in Level 1 of Dead Center.

10. Custom infected warning for custom radial menu, including Charger, Jockey, Spitter.

1. Added "Close the door!"
When all survivors were in safe room but haven't closed the door yet, one of survivors would urge to close the door.

2. Added "SHOOT THE TANK!"
As fighting against tank, if you make friendly fire to other survivors, they will reply to you angrily.

3. Added "You are welcome" to specific subjects.
Your role may not only say "You are welcome." but also says "No problem, Ellis."

4. Improved that Rochelle says "Molotov!" when she finds available molotovs, not original "Look!" or "Check this shit out." that wasn't ideal notifying.

1. Added official campaign exclusive lines for radial menu.
For example, you may hear "KEEP RUNNING" line when you run to turn off alarm in Dead Center. I have added all lines which was suitable any situation for radial menu. You can hear those rare lines when you play any custom campaign now!.

2. Added unused "Sorry" lines for every survivor, sometimes you say sorry to others, they may not accept.

3. Now every survivor has 6 kinds of laughter at least, Ellis has 10 kinds of laughter.

4. Added unused lines when Coach and Nick are going to throw the molotov.

5. Added most of lines which only appear in level 1 and level 2 of Dead Center.
Healing, spotting infected and so on.

6. When a Magnum pistol is found, survivors will say "Pistol!", not just "Look here!" that wasn't ideal notifying.
Only Coach has no this line.

L4D2 Modified Talker is an addon which improves survivor's conversation. It includes many exclusive dialogues, unused survivor's voices and fully support the "Character Select Menu" plugin!!

Additionally, it includes brand new corrections which lazy asses in Valve are unable to fix. You can enjoy abundant dialogue without stupid bugs.

Pros:

Huge amount of lines added for each Survivor – I'm still wondering why Valve didn't do it, I mean why the f♥♥k you would record megabytes of dialogues just to NOT use it at all?
You can say „Sorry” for friendly fire and you can actually hear a response like „God damn it.” or sth
Wisely used „Thanks” response when healing (Survivors are thanking when you're healing them, not after to avoid cutting lines)
Nice try with using „battle healing” lines, but pretty much unsuccessful (they actually appear after horde attacks)
„Got a can” instead of „Got it“ spam
I didn't know that Coach's „This used to be a nice neighborhood!” was actually implemented into game, I thought it's only in intro :D

Cons:

In any mutation with one Survivor dialogues goes crazy – e.g. in The Streets Survivor randomly and at any time says lines from level start about going to gun shop – it's weird when you're standing in front of Whitaker's shop and e.g. Coach says that there is gun shop in the town and they should go there
In The Passing Nick sometimes wants to shoot Francis even if they was talking with Zoey
In NM1 Francis very often answers to himself (like „Safehouse! Let's go!” and right then he says „Cool.” or „A-frickin-men.” like first line was said by other Survivor)

Conclusion:

It definitely works in Single Player and if you're not a fan of custom radial menus (like me), it's definitely worth a shot.
