1. Navigate to your left4dead2/media folder
2. You'll see the following files : l4d2_background01, l4d2_background02, l4d2_background03
l4d2_background04, l4d2_background05. Make a Copy of them on a different folder, this will serve
as your backup in case something goes wrong or you decide to revert back to the original backgrounds.
I repeat! Please make a backup of these files!!
3. Extract the l4d2_background01.bik from the zip archive.
4. Make 4 more copies of this file and rename them l4d2_background02 - l4d2_background05.
5. Copy these 5 files to your left4dead2/media folder.
6. Start the game and enjoy your new background video.
