sounds- deathshadow
replaces Pumpshotgun
I am pretty sure I fixed the re-load issue. The problem was the deploy sound was left out and the sound files were not the same length so it fills in the rest with random sounds. However, the reason the shot makes a buzz is that the sound itself has a weird static buzz in the middle. No way to fix it. I need to find the sound file and replace it completely. It was probably recorded wrong.
I am done fixing the sounds on this gun. I even got something awesome for all the TF2 fans.
-Beautiful Gun.
-High Res Textures.
-Could use a different model I guess.
-No shell ejection.
-The reload animations are awkward. Imaginary/Invisible shells are put in during reloads.
-Ugh... The sound is broken. That squeaking sound is so obnoxious. FIX IT!
-This mod is currently being ignored. No patch in 6+ Months.
I wanted to wait until this was patched before I made a review, but after 6+ months, I am going to give you my thoughts.
THIS MOD IS BROKEN! SO MUCH POTENTIAL WASTED! The broken sounds and reload animations must be addressed, but I see you chose to lazily ignore this mod, instead of making a simple patch. This was so anticipating for me, and had this been patched with fixed sounds and animations: This would have gotten an 8 or 9, or hell even a 10 (if near perfect).
Man, this weapons WOULD be awesome and a totally get if wasn't for two problems:
1- The sounds problem when you reload.
2- The lack of shell in your hand when you reload (it's more like you are cleaning the shotgun than reloading it)
It would be a piece if this two problems are fixed.
Well, I was trying to fix the "bzzzz" sound by just replacing the sounds in the VPK with new ones. I mess up everything and the gun becames invisible. So I deleted it, launched the game, download it again and put it back. It's working perfectly now. No "bzzzz" sound. Dunno what happened but I have a glue.
I use a lot, I mean, A LOT of mods together. When I removed Sawed Off, launched the game and put it back, it goes to the botton of my mod list and I thing something on top of it fixed it in some way. So it's my suggestion: remove sawed off, launch the game, add sawed off so it goes to the botton of you addons list. Work for me.
(If you dont know, the vpks on top have priority, the game dont read a vpk part that already have being changed by some other vpk. Example: you have two VPK changing the same gun. If you active both, only the one on top will work. If you one the one down, deactive the one on top. Get it?).
Nah, false alarm. The "bzzz" come back.
But using a shotgun sound mod solved the problem.
Just download one and make sure this is on top of sawed off in your addons list.
hey dude, probably you are busy if you're not, dont ignore comments, its not a very cool thing to do you know...
With respect: There's a new skin for this gun on the team fortress 2 site. A real beauty by R-r-ragdoll!. Doesn't have those suicide holes in the barrel.

It's okay guys. I will try fixing the sound. Or at least replace sounds with working ones.
