Released! You can start this map from campaign lobby. Coop is fully supported. Versus is possible but it's not yet fully complete.
Final Salvation is a Left 4 Dead 2 campaign created by an international team of developers.
After travelling along the river for a few days the four survivors tie their boat to a small dock along a canal in an unknown city. They are drawn here by radio messages indicating a possible military controlled outpost within the city. As they move deeper into the city the military's plan becomes clear. Their only hope for salvation is to reach the outpost. They need to move fast, because when the clock stops ticking, the worldwide bombing of infected areas begins.

This is the first map of a 5-map campaign called Final Salvation. Map 1 'The Canal' is released now as a teaser for the full campaign. Campaign created by: aaWee, Goudvis, Exi and Doctor. Other maps are under development.

Stoked! I have been waiting for a quality versus map, this looks great! had my eye on this campaign for some time now.
Nice, very good detailed map, also, How did you get intro music to your map? It's the only thing i have been wondering about mapping, can you please tell me? =)

well i really enjoyed the map. lots of really cool ideas for places and areas, nice length, supplies, lighting, atmosphere, spawning, navigation. but throughout the whole playthrough i was lagging really bad. still need to figure out if that was the map or my computer

Going through the tunnel made the game almost unplayable for me
If I could figure out why my frame rate and sound went to crap once I went through the tunnel with the barrels this would definitely be a 10/10. Too unstable to play again. Maybe when this stuff is fixed. I really loved this map though, and would love to play it with friends when it's completed. :)
