Kill plenty of zombies starting in RiverSide (city) then battling through the Back Alleys, over a Draw Bridge, at a Military Outpost finding yourself at a Water Plant and during the escape at the Subway Station.

Pros:

Draw bridge event.
Tank (vehicle) event.
Unique finale location.

Cons:

Mismatch of sky-box and fog.
Structures appear out of the sky as proximity changes.
Commons will spawn right in front of you at the end of the drawbridge.
Uneven flow.
Way too much unity, not enough variety.
Over use of the same textures - brick and cinder block for exteriors AND interiors.
Door alarm after door alarm after door alarm.
All brick building, linear path through street fencing, cars littered streets, repeat.

Conclusion:

I liked individual moments of the last three maps, but they are bound together with the same thing over and over: the same kind of architecture, the same textures, the same horde events, etc. Using bricks for both interior and exterior textures doesn't make the city feel destroyed, it makes it feel like it was never completed, then destroyed.
Along with the fog/sky color mismatch, these problems have existed since the first release for L4D1.

There are set pieces that do work here: the finale, the scavenge event for the tank and the drawbridge. But the redundancy of the visuals, the mechanics and the structures take away from the charms of the more unique areas.

I think this campaign would do very well with a good deal of editing. Perhaps a more streamlined campaign of four maps, using the best parts of the six.

Pros:

Infected sided in versus
Layout is complex and fun
Tough crescendos

Cons:

Wouldn't be fun in campaign
Needs better design
The scavenge crescendo can't be measured for distance

Conclusion:

Fun versus map. Play it!

Pros:

- Great game play
- good balance between hordes and ammo/weapons
- long maps

Cons:

- Bots are a big problem. Not only do they get lost, have problems on staircases and miss medkits, they also often just stand there ignoring zombies hitting them until they fall over and require help.

Conclusion:

This would be an excellent map except for the bot problem. It's almost unplayable because of the bot actions. I'll review this map again when or if this problem is fixed and tack on 40 more points than I'm giving it right now.

Pros:

Maps long enough
Enough alarms
Nice tank idé
Enough weapons and stuff

Cons:

I could jump on roof
So many gas cans to move a tank some meters?
Couldn't open the gunstore door
We was going around (see conclusion)
Bad final!

Conclusion:

-I could whitout any problems, jump on a fence and then on roof tops after using the elevator. I could go around some parts of the map! Remove the fence or create a playerclip!

-So many gas cans to move a tank some meters? It was a great idé but i dont think i vehicle need more then 1 can to move some meters! -.-

-I couldn't open the gunstore door! I didn't find any others way out or a button or something to unlock it!

-The final was really bad! The train was going around us all time and didn't stop! After we fight against a big, big horde, he finally stoped! And becasue we hade to wait so long to get onboard, all bots diead while they were trying to get to the train, so i hade to fight by my own for the last 20 sec. Lucky i hade adrenaline and could run to the train alone!


But the maps looks good and you added enough stuff to use. Good campaign whit some bad details!

Pros:

Interesting use of gas can finale logic in non-finale setting
Cool traps

Cons:

Elevator in beginning didn't work and had to noclip everyone to progress
The door in the gun store towards the end didn't open and had to noclip again which broke the panic event and we had no enemies for the second half of the map
Framerate suffers in some areas
Took 13 gas cans (5gal each?) to move the tank vehicle a couple hundred yards

Conclusion:

Worth playing but the bugs could make it frustrating or even unplayable without cheats.

Pros:

+Long maps
+Excellent map layout never got lost
+Loved all the panic situations
+Bridge was excellent
+Subway Escape Good
+Lots of zombies constant hordes
+No Bot Problems

Cons:

None

Conclusion:

Excellent map took me a hour to complete no bug problems and lots of zombies i would highly recommened this map if you are up for a challenge with lots of zombies.
