A remake of the classic Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II multiplayer map; Canyon Oasis.
Almost exactly like the original. What i really liked is that the look of it reminded me so much of the original map, i started to reminisce about the good o'le times i had then got plastered by a tank
Cons:the castle is not as good a spot as i'd hope for it to be....
Conclusion:this map was a great remake of the classic Canyon Oasis for jedi knight dark forces 2. First i have to make clear that if no one has played that game then no body should talk anything bad about this map. What i liked about it was everything about the level layout was almost to the T of what they should be. The truth is this map is for JK'ers. If you haven't played it you wouldn't understand, and thats what i don't like. I mean i really liked the computer room w/ the JEDI KNIGHT DARK FORCES 2 POSTER in there hahahaha great stuff beefz i look forward to ur next addition to the jkdf2... i mean l4d2 maps ;)
Very accurate reconstruction on the original Jedi Knight Canyon Oasis Map. There are obviously design changes needed to make it a survivor map but you can tell the scale and texturing are dead on.
I like how it's difficult to camp one spot the entire time, you are forced to split time running to the minigun to handle tanks and then running back to one of the gun/health stockpile areas.
Some of the architecture does not really blend well together. Part of it looks like an archeological dig, but then the cliff house looks very modern.
Conclusion:I rarely enjoy playing Survivor, but I had a blast with this map.
Nice design
Nice ide
Really hard to get a good time
Radio dont glow
Need more ammo
Weapons hard to find if you haven't play this map
Nice map but somethings can be changed
-Large and full of space, plenty of room to fight around in
-Lots of light never any confusion of where I am headed
-Zombie pathing is a challenge that adds alot of fun.
-Hard to get ammo or guns
-nothing looks natural is has this.. bleh look like it just does not fit.
-To many areas to fall I feel like im playing a balancing game
-Needs more special infected
It is alright for a few minutes but looking at all the objects it looks like you just threw it together not worrying about detail. How it looks is very important I think if you put some more work into making it look better that would be great. Maybe some walls to there are just to many ledges to fall off and when playing with npcs going up and down becomes a babysitting game. They layout just does not make any sense also but its a good map if it was your first one you have ever made.

good remake
Cons:light placement never bothered me
lots of molotovs
chainsaw
both survivor bots and infected are smart at getting around
very difficult
some textures rough-looking and unrealistic
Conclusion:sometimes tank music didn't play (not really much of a problem.)
radio dosent glow
