Map1)

Optimisation :
All static props and ovelays are now fading properly.
Removed many uneeded physic/static props.
Increased "lightmap scale" on many textures.
Many hidden textures are now in "nodraw".
Made some brush as "func_detail".

Gameplay :
The barricade event have now more zombies spawns.
Moved the ambulance to force going through it.
Cliped the map boundaries properly (hunters can't fall of the map anymore).
Added 2 avoidable witches in the appartments for atmosphere.
Made some static props "non_solid" to ease navigation.
Added a few more infected ladders.
Created a door in the back of the first dinner.
Moved throwables from the beggining to 10meters in the trunk of a humvee.
Lengthened the map by building new areas like a garage etc...
Added some pickable items around.
Adjusted some choppy clips.
Reworked many navigation meshes.

Debugging :
Fixed the jukebox, it should now play properly.
Fixed some light that didn't turn off when shot.
Removed unusable minigun (was confusing)

Visual :
Moved some lights around.
Fixed some penetrating props.
Fixed many gaps between brush or/and props.
Replaced/removed/added some textures/props.
Added some missing glass to humvees and windows frames.
Added a stage with a piano in the bar.
Changed the truck in the park and removed another.
Made the side wall in the park slightly lower.
Made some static props properly lit.
Remade the saferoom.





Map2)

Optimisation :
All ovelays are now fading properly.
Removed many uneeded physic/static props.
Increased "lightmap scale" on many textures.
Many hidden textures are now in "nodraw".
Made some brush as "func_detail".

Gameplay :
Cliped the map boundaries properly (hunters can't fall of the map anymore).
Made some static props "non_solid" to ease navigation.
Added a hurt area around the blowing truck during explosion.
Made the hole less deeper in the works area. (we can get out now)
Added a few more infected ladders.
Lengthened the map by building sewers.
Reworked the PoolHall; added a mezzanine.
Added some pickable items around.
Adjusted some choppy clips.
Reworked many navigation meshes.

Debugging :
Fixed the bridge, should not stutter when running on it anymore.

Visual :
Changed the container in the park to a rusty trailer.
Lit up some brushes around the fountain.
Fixed some penetrating props.
Replaced/removed/added some textures/props.
Made some static props properly lit .



Map3)

Optimisation :
All ovelays are now fading properly.
Removed many uneeded physic/static props.
Increased "lightmap scale" on many textures.
Many hidden textures are now in "nodraw".
Made some brush as "func_detail".

Gameplay :
Reworked many clips to prevent shortcuts on the end roofs.
Cliped the map boundaries properly (hunters can't fall of the map anymore).
Made some static props "non_solid" to ease navigation.
Added a few more infected ladders.
Added ladders in all small pools.
Added some pickable items around.
Adjusted some choppy clips.
Reworked many navigation meshes.

Debugging :
Fixed unblocked nav from event gate.


Visual :
Fixed some penetrating props.
Replaced/removed/added some textures/props.
Made some static props properly lit.

Optimisation :

Increased "lightmap scale" on many textures.
Many hidden textures are now in "nodraw".
Made some brush as "func_detail".

Gameplay :
Cliped the map boundaries properly (hunters can't fall of the map anymore).
Made some static props "non_solid" to ease navigation.
Reworked the birthday party music event (shut down the power supply as well as shoot the dog)
Adjusted some choppy clips.
Reworked many navigation meshes.

Debugging :
Fixed blue and red checkered reflections.


Visual :
Added fireflies throughout the map
Fixed some penetrating props.
Replaced/removed/added some textures/props.
Ajusted some lights.



Map5)

Optimisation :
All ovelays are now fading properly.
Removed many uneeded physic/static props.
Increased "lightmap scale" on many textures.
Many hidden textures are now in "nodraw".
Made some brush as "func_detail".

Gameplay :
16 Gascans out of 20 are now needed to escape in coop ;(10 in single player).
Made the boat glow and added a hint when starting the finale (stops when in sight).
Made the gas nozzle easier to reach.
Moved some infected ladders that was blocking players.
Cliped the map boundaries properly (hunters can't fall of the map anymore).
Made some static props "non_solid" to ease navigation.
Adjusted some choppy clips.
Reworked many navigation meshes.

Debugging :
Commons and Tanks should now spawn at the right time.
Outro animation should now work properly.


Visual :
Fixed some penetrating props.
Replaced/removed/added some textures/props.
Ajusted some lights.
Made some static props properly lit.

map03=-worked on an easier and more visible path.

i haven't played the latest version yet, only saw the screenshots.
ehm, where do the huge rocks in the pool come from??? survivors who left the place in panic? illogic... zombies who took a dump in the pool? illogic... meteorites? more illogic... ehm, aliens taking a dump in the pool? seems to be a more logic explanation... who placed those giant rocks in the pool in this zombieapocalypse? the author, who obviously placed some candy bars in the pool and in his brain... seems logic ^^

Those are part of pool designs.

Marvelous improvement. All round Excellence.
Only one problem........unable to finish due to crash to desktop at 3rd map, continuously.
Any help would be grateful.

Thanks for the response.
It crashes about 20 secs into Hostile Campsite.
I've also tried loading it from 3rd Chapter and it still crashes.
Any thoughts "

No neojo some of us have posted about this problem before. I posted about this months ago. I was checking here to see if anyone find a solution. It's always the 3rd map that causes crash. It happened to everyone that was playing in my group.

That's not really a solution because many of us have lots and lots of custom campaigns and having to disable/enable all of them again is a hassle.

Uninstalling other custom maps is the lazy way! Some of us have more than 40 maps in the game, are you seriously saying to uninstall them, just to play one map and then install them again? Sorry, but no!

Pros:

Great detail
Everything works
Map runs smooth
Fun events
Fair size maps
Such cool ideas for maps
Lighting in each map was perfect
Overall fun and great map

Cons:

Finale is way to big in size and I think 16 Gas cans is way to much

Conclusion:

I love this map you get a taste of everything in this map from city to the campsites and swamps, it keeps you going without boring you.

Finale is way to big and 16 cans is way to much and seeing how this map is so big, I seen so many special infected spawns and horde spawns you don't even get a break to get around to getting all the cans along with Tanks, I found at certain times, there would be 3 hunters and 2 smokers and constant horde along with a boomer and charger or spitter and charger, nothing wrong with challenge but not like that too where its not even fun to play.

Reduce the amount of cans to like 12 or 10 if you wanna have such a big finale.

Finale is way too hard if you play 2 players + bots. There is a horde/tank/3-4 specials EVERY SINGLE SECOND :/
Otherwise, good map ;)

Pros:

- It's fun and enjoyable.
- Gotta love the pool part.
- very nice scenery and feels a bit spooky

Cons:

- Cans are a bit away, it gave me hard time to collect them without dying.

- Aside of cans I haven't crossed with anything bad,everything is good for me so far.

Conclusion:

I loved it, feels spooky and makes me feel there's someone behind ( I don't know why xD), the pool part man I gotta swim it's fun! ( don't know why but it's fun woohoo!). Can't say this map is boring because it's so freakin awesome!
