Final Version! Ending now available at the basement elevator in Offices!

-Added an ending
-Fixed not being able to go into the cold storage room in map 1.
-Added a piece of custom music used in the outro
-Edited the poster to not say "Beta" all over it
-Swapped the l4d2 intro with a teaser trailer for Escaping Las Vegas (May not work; if so, no loss)

No further updates are planned unless major bugs are spotted by the community that I oversaw.

Thanks to everyone over the last two and a half years that made this campaign a wild success!

Edit 12/1/11: After receiving overwhelming support from the community, I'm giving this thing one last shot.

Last update. All support for 2019 is now gone. No further updates are planned.

If you want to play the finale, play 2019 Lite.

This is the second to last update for 2019 before I temporarily drop support for it. I need more time to work on it.

Before Sunday, I'll upload the basic finale to 2019 Lite. Note that there is no finale, just the map. I need to see if the progress I'm making is good.

The last update will either see some changes to the maps or just bug fixes from this release, if there are any.

CHANGES MADE SINCE LAST VERSION:

-Edited the accessible hallway in the stairwell to give off a "cold" sense

-Less "Mirror's Edge"

-Optimized all Maps

-New room in stairwell hallway below Intro Saferoom, called "Cold Storage"

-Optimized Lighting

-Compiled in my custom version of HDR

-Trimmed down file size

-Removed Merc

-Some ads were kept from the previous version. Most however have been removed.

-New Intro music.

HUGE UPDATE! THE BIGGEST UPDATE IN THIS CAMPAIGN'S HISTORY!

-Fixed the cubemap error in Riverfront
-Added more cubemaps throughout Apartments and Offices
-Added voiceovers by Mercury from Mirror's Edge
-Mercury plays a key role in the campaign; watch for him when the finale arrives next month!
-Added new sounds!
-New Outro song created by me!
-Survivor dialogue is now proper

-The Story for the campaign has been created!

-New to 2019? Mercury will guide you through!
-A new intermission map is planned, Elevator Ride. This map will allow you to gear up for the finale, and see the cityrise from the Elevator as you descend to the mall.

This is a largely Beta Release. Due to my laptop not being able to launch l4d2, I am stuck with guessing. So please, if there is anything, ANYTHING, wrong/changed for the worse since the last version, let me know immediately.

Revised Bug list:
*NEW* People running Low (Possibly Medium) Graphics/ Video settings will encounter issues. Crank your settings up. This is Non-fixable. The textures were made in Hi-Res settings, so there is no fix without overhauling the campaign.
*NEW* The Survival map is extremely hard. A V2 which is expanded and more open is in the works, to be released with the next update.

-Updated list of bugs:
*New* VPK might not show up in addons. Open up the developer console by pressing ~ (tilde) in the main menu, then type in: "2019_m1b" without quotes.
-Skybox issue in 2nd level, by looking at the crane you can see lines across the sky signaling a "box"
-Infected still spawn too early
-50% chance of a Tank spawning right after the first in the 3rd level's Crescendo Event. (I.E. the Tank for the event will spawn, you hop down the elevators, and there's another one 50% of the time)

Pros:

-Looked like 2019
-Random hordes were a good length, there weren't too many or too less it was perfect

Cons:

BIG CON- There is absolutely no story behind it
-This campaign too me was a very plain campaign and was boring at times, but some parts were fun.
-There were some lags
-The bots acted really weird, they sometimes couldn't find me for some reason and wouldn't pick up any guns.

Conclusion:

This campaign too me seem the normal plain campaign. It was boring at times. I will say the hordes were a perfect length, there weren't too many or too less and that's a big thing I look for in maps.

Pros:

-New textures
-Lengthy maps
-Crescendo events that make sense
-Good level design with little to no mistakes

Cons:

-Some bot navigation problems
-Bland hallways every once in a while
-No real story
-Shorter

Conclusion:

I didn't mind the finale being a run to the elevator. I don't remember but I don't think there was any way of the survivors to actually know a helicopter was there to pick them up, like a radio of some sort.

I'm a real big fan of the setting this campain has! So I was wondering if I could try to create my own campain with this setting?

Sure, just don't use my textures or any resources from the map, please.

Pros:

- I finally found Sniper rifle useful
- Really cool design
- Once there's a panic event, it's good
- Great soundtrack

Cons:

- No finale
- Really short
- Too easy to stand back and shoot from safe distance (unless you're shooting witch)

Conclusion:

When I was reading the reviews of the other members I expected just a shitty campaign with nice looking maps, but it turned out to be better than I've expected. If not the problem of easy camping, and if you would take the time to actually do something more, this would propably be one of the best campaigns out there. Still, I enjoyed it, now it's time to look at 2019 part II... I know that a lot of people dislked that one but I would like to see that on my own.

I was glad when this map ended so I could stop playing on it.
It's just big, empty, and shiny with a little too many zombies and a lot of walking.
