Please delete old VPK
* Good easy to follow story line
* Nice, unique setting
* Detailed levels
* Got update weapons
* Varied crescendo events
* Memorable scenes & moments (The lift in map 2 was my favourite)
~ 2 witches in 1 level (although I did mange to crown both of them)
~ The sky in finale is badly made
~ Zombies talk a long time to reach us in finale
The campaign was good as a hole with an interesting storyline, detailed map. There were a few hiccups that could be changed, but the extra level made it better than the original.
I recommend this to anyone, its a great map which you can even play with bots!
.
This looks wonderous! Any chance we could have a dam map like this ported to Garry's Mod?
-Good Details
-Nice Textures
-Bots Don't Get stuck
-Pretty Good Amount Of Weapons Available
-Good Idea For A Map
-The Finale Was A Bit Long
Conclusion:Great campaign, but it took a while for the helicopter to get to the dam. Very good details and textures.
.
i really like this campaign, keep up the good work :-)
banner requires iframes
-Nice scenarios
-Good ending
-Maps not too long or too short
-Too difficult ending, even on easy
And... nothing
One of the best addon maps I ever played.
Keep working man!!
I really enjoyed the beginning. It was very beautiful, and loads of fun to play through.
It never felt obvious that the electricity were going to the closed door.
Witch running into wall and getting stuck there.
survivors willingly jumping down from a cliff, committing suicide.
The beginning and the finale had some interesting visuals. All the other parts felt very gray, very boring. Much: room, corridor, room, corridor.
All in all, well polished, a fun map to play.
Great level design. Good mix of weapons, placements, places to hide.
Cons:Inexcusibly difficult finale. I found it impossible in single player even on normal level. Bots won't take med kits and heal themselves. Final tanks (three I think) accompanied by mutliple specials and swarms. Monsters and swarms continued while you set up the final defense. Finale cannot be loaded directly without texture problems. Why do you hate people? Make it easier, you talented freak.
Conclusion:Great addition to previous version. Make finale less brutal and I'd rate it much higher.
- good gameplay
- good graphics
- great dam sight of view
- long and challenging map 2
- no gauntlet crescendos
- map 1 too short
- finale map 3 not too short but gameplay wise too uninspired with a lot of camping spots
It's for sure a good map for me. Not more and not less.
It lacks especially gauntlet crescendos, a much longer map 1 and a finale map with maybe a dam gauntlet like the bridge gauntlet in "The Parish".
Excellent level designs.
Fair amount of ammo and weapons spread out.
Hordes and specials are in good places everywhere.
Lots of excitement!
Although 3 maps, everything is well paced.
Final fight is too long.
First map is too wide and just a bit short.
Needs more incendiaries.
A great campaign. Although it's only 3 maps long, it plays out really well and has a lot of great visuals and excitement.
Beatuiful design
The elevator
Very, VERY detailed
lots of zombies
I liked the last saferoom design
Short
At the final, I got kicked out by a charger and into the water and had to restart it all over again. Kinda irritating
This was a fun and good map to play.
Great design
Nice Environment
Funny to play
Map 1 too short
Conclusion:Great map, very funny to play and not too difficult or too easy.. But the first map is just too short imo
- Great Map for honing your zombie fighting skills
- Excellent if a group of your friends what to train and develop your team work.
- Excellent visuals and attention to details in the modeling
-Plenty of zombie hordes to test your stamina.
-Good map for testing different strategies
-Good for learning how to setup a defensive location.
-Excellent map for learning how to melee a large horde properly.
- Only real con is that the FPS issue when there is a large zombie swarm during play. Many hiccups and shutters in game play unless you are aware of the problem; that could cost your team their lives at a crucial moment.
Conclusion:Great MOD well worth playing! One of the top MODS I have played. I would recommend Dam It 2 as a must have for your L4D2 playlist. You can enjoy this MOD over and over without getting stale after just a few runs.
Unique Campaign (One of a kind here)
Great visuals
Optimized well (Ran almost without a hitch on my old computer)
Only 3 maps
Finale is a bit long
Plane Crash wasn't that great
Great campaign, but the plane crash failed to Wow me.
-Very Great Map Design
-Good Use of Textures
-Love the airplane that was coming in and the thoughts that came with it "Oh cool and airplane in the air...ohhh that okk it looks like its descending...well maybe its coming towards us...is it gonna hit us; naaa... it's gonna hit us!
-Glad u included a lot of the aspects of the dam and made it so we explored all aspects of it
-Bit confused as to why there would be a taxi elevated for fixture in a dam haha
-First map felt short
-Felt like the last stand-off dragged on for a little to long
In the end this campaign was pretty darn cool...especially the last map. I feel there could have been more to it but in the end it was well worth a play and i wold recommend it for others as well.
Good pacing.
World feels like it had been lived in.
Logical pathways from A to B.
Versus capable.
Unique setting.
First level is a bit too short.
In the dam's inner structure in the second level, there is too much unity and not enough variety.
In versus on a local, unmodded server, SI were spawing and attacking the survivors while the into pan was happening.
This is one of the best user made maps. There is a consistent feel, and the structures seem logical and realistic enough to be immersive. The flow is dead on - a quality release.
- Visually beautiful in parts
- Great job with the detail on the dam itself
- Some creative paths to take and challenging areas
- Not your typical map, just lots of fun
- Needs another map, maybe 2. Finished it in 50 minutes, should be at least an hour or so
- The finale is too easy with the zombies and tank mostly coming from the 1 end. Should have them come up the stairs as well
Another great campaign! There have been a few this week. I was starting to wonder if I wasn't just being too picky but now I know it can be done. I hope you take the time to add another map at least. Even if you don't it's a lot of fun and one I will play again for sure. Thanks!
- Detail went over the top every time, all the time.
- I really liked how you climbed up the dam, looking back on where you previously were each time.
- Tank on the crane was AWESOME. xD
- And then when I looked later and he was gone I was all like OSHI-
- Lighting never fails to do its job spectacularly.
- Elevator was awesome. x3 I wanted it to fall though, that would've been epic.
- Great use of plane crash.
- Perfect length.
- When tank breaks through wall in generator room (in finale) I shit brix.
- Great use of soundscapes and Swamp Fever soundtrack thingy. :D
- Dam looks frightening and impressive in the first map, then it supplies you with an amazing vista as you stand upon it in the finale map.
- No nav problems at ALL!
- Intro scene with the plane was great use of foreshadowing.
- Perfect difficulty level.
- Compound was kind of boring. :P Just going through the offices and stuff felt like watching a commercial while I waited for it to get back to the real campaign. (Detail in the offices almost fixed it, but not quite. :3)
- I wanted to climb on the crane in the finale.
This map ≥ The Passing. Pretty awesome, imo.
-Good Details
-Nice Textures
-Bots Don't Get stuck
-Pretty Good Amount Of Weapons Available
-Good Idea For A Map
-The Finale Was A Bit Long
Conclusion:Great campaign, but it took a while for the helicopter to get to the dam. Very good details and textures.
* Good easy to follow story line
* Nice, unique setting

The campaign was good as a hole with an interesting storyline, detailed map. There were a few hiccups that could be changed, but the extra level made it better than the original.
I recommend this to anyone, its a great map which you can even play with bots!
-Looks great
Cons:-Boring
-Too many Jockeys & Spitters at the finale. It really gets annoying and takes away from the game. Jockeys are the worst characters and take away from the fun.
-Everything looks the same
-Short
-Ending is frustrating- mainly because of all the special infected that spawn
-Glitches (i.e. finale- bots do not pick up health kits)
Not a fan of this campaign. It could have been done a lot better and had more thought put into it. Finale is too frustrating.
+ Very Fun
+ Decent Size
+ Worth Playing
+ Very Good Textures
+ Makes You Feel Like Your Really In a Zombie Apocalypse.
None
Conclusion:Definitely worth downloading, fun to play with or without buddies.
- a lot of details
- eye catching spots
- nice story
- a lot of commun zombies
- perfect lightening
- more maps!
Conclusion:I realy liked the map and the look of it and i have nothing to add. Keep this perfect work up!
this is a very cool campaign, inventive and interesting. good design and some very cool areas with a lot of detail. I found it challenging but not impossible wich was great. I love the amount of jimmy gibbs, hearng ellis yell in shock every now and then was hilarious.
Cons:not many :D although the finale was quite difficult downscale it maybe :)
Conclusion:very cool campaign lots of fun and very challlenging.
So dam impressive maps!!!
Cool elevator
Good nav, bots was not stupid
Many uncommon infected
First map was shorter then the other ones
The final was too long!
Add more fire / explosive ammo
Extremly nice work! I played this on l4d. Dam it 2 was so much better!
Cool elevator and good panic event
Buts are normaly stupid, but they were okey on this campaign. Good nav!
Many uncommon infected, nice.
First map was a little bit shorter ^^
The final was toooooo long!!! Horde, horde, horde, horde, horde, horde, horde, firs tank!, horde, horde, horde, horde.....
Add more fire / explosive ammo!
Really nice campaign! I enjoyed playing this! But the extremly long final took some points. It was like 5 times longer then normal finals.
-Interesting environment.
-Uncommon Infected.
-Survivor Dialogue.
-Survivor names in poster are out of place.
-Bots are incredibly poor, even for this game's standards (mind you, this is a BIG penalty).
An otherwise okay campaign, the bots are (literally) too dumb to live. They hardly ever defend themselves, and they refused to heal themselves too! They won't take the Health Kits during the finale either.
Until you fix these AI issues, I'm sticking to my belief that this is a poor campaign. No campaign is a true campaign if there are such AI difficulties.
-A nice environment/setting, also reminds me of l4d1
-The new weapons are actually there, which I'm glad for
-It is a good exploration, not that long, but could be long
-Ai sometimes fast to act upon killing SI
-Weapons could be placed in better places, at least for the last map
-Ai most of the time, the bots, are being SHHTOOPID, they are like the ai in other maps
-The finale could use work, everything is fine, just make it the same feeling as l4d. DON'T make the rescue come after killing many tanks, make it at 2 and that's that!
-If new, you may get lost and take up a bit of time, but that is fine
It was OK overall, would have been better, but since you're not done, I think, please, PLEASE add one more map, and make the finale better, at least how it is concluded. The finale is not supposed to take THAT long, remember that.
- Detailed environment
- Clean nav mesh
- Good challenge
- Perfect length. If it were a 5 map campaign it would have been too long given the environment..
- Sometimes the hallways and offices feel similar.
- There are no directional arrows in maps 1 and 2. And map 3 doesn't need arrows.
- The finale was boring. (see conclusion for more details).
Staying in one place and holding up might have been fine in L4D1 but it gets boring in L4D2 because we all have seen better finales. You have made a very detailed environment but you don't show all of it to us. Have the players run back and forth to keep the finale exciting. Start the finale by activating the radio (the horde starts the attack). Then a text lets us know that the radio needs batteries. So the survivors have to run to the other side of the dam for the batteries and run back to the radio. The guy on the radio tells us that we need to activate the flare so the rescue vehicle can arrive. The flares are in a case back in the safe house. The survivors get the flare and set it up at a designated spot on the dam. Then the rescue vehicle arrives. A finale like this keeps the players moving. A team of people have to work together. And we get to see every inch of your very detailed map. I made a finale like the one i just explained so I know it's doable. This is just a suggestion however. Overall, this is a very good campaign. Nice work.
Incredible detail and scenic vistas.
First and last maps are wild, chaotic fun.
First map is short, but I have read your comment that you are extending it.
The dam(n) offices are cookie-cutter geometries. I would like to see more details to make some of them unique and realistic looking places.
This is a fabulous experience, and we are approaching close to professional artistic quality here.
Great job, and our thanks for sharing with us. Grade: A
Good tricky map(a lot of way to get to a place)
Smart AI I suppose
A lot of Crescendo Events
Nice Ending
I found only one witch (in Normal difficulty). I think there must be more witches.
3rd Crescendo Event(2nd map elevator) really made me and my friend suffer - -
TOO SHORT... even shorter than The Passing!
I love this map but it is kinda' too short. The idea of the dam and Crescendo Events are great, but the elevator is way too hard bro'. One of the best custom map anyway! :)
-Amazing!
-Great Map Detail
-Scary!
-intense
-M60!
-Once I got to the dam the map glitched and it showed me white lines everywhere
-Too Many special Infected in every level
-Needs More Tanks/Witches
-On the last map a charger made coach and rochele fly away lmfao.
Its a great Map,i played it single player Advanced, its very challenging, its got everything you can possibly need.
A very Great Map that deserves a High Rating.
Amazing attention to detail and design
Amazing layouts- the game is very replayable
Great for versus
Just amazing
Great L4D1 atmosphere and vibe
Love the poster
None
Conclusion:Download this campaign! It's a Valve quality map, and better than most custom campaigns. Heck, this is equivalent of I Hate Mountains 3 map campaign.
Extremely professional work
Interesting idea of the dam
Challenging
So far I've found the finale impossible on normal and even easy settings. It is too long with too many infected and special infected.
Conclusion:This is a nearly perfect campaign only let down by the finale. For the average player playing on single player this is way too difficult and I have yet to complete it. As others have noted the bots don't heal themselves.
Good Map Designs and Themes
Interesting and Well Made Events
The Conversion from L4D to L4D2 was alittle SLoppy
Finale is REALLY Hard (COuldnt do it on Normal With Bots)
Finale could do with extra parts
Alittle Short
A Very Good and Challenging Campaign that I would recommend
all of it is a pro.
the new ending absolutely rox
the safe room thats on the spiral stairs through me for a loop.it wouldnt end the round at first there was a zombie alive in there still lol
pfft your kidding me right
Conclusion:i absolutely loved this on l4d1,but omg its better on 2
really good mapping skills
like the feeling and the atmosphere
some bad fps drops
ontop of damn no glass in cars
a couple of areas onto of damn with no navs connected
in front of door panic event to get inside no navs on that lorry?i think zombies just dance around
well on l4d1 it was really cool and it was a nice surprise to see it on l4d2!really good work liked it alot.
Shame about the fps sometimes and i was abit disapointed not to see different areas and more maps =)
keep up the good work buddy with abit of optimisation and a tweak here or two it ll be perfecto.
+Well designed, detailed and a good layout of weapons/ammo/supplies
+Well-made intro pic, and a nice intro scene
+The zombies spawning on the upper level after activatign the first crescendo scared the crap out of me... nice XD
+A plus for having custum descriptions of all Crescendo Event Switches
+CRASHING PLANE FTW
+Nice finale placement
+Radio use in finale :D
-The first crescendo seem to be a gauntlet... though the Safe Room door is just behind the event door, which makes it kinda useless?
-Me and my friend ran 2 times the same circle of rooms after leaving the first saferoom, until we noticed that we already were here... Confusing level? XD
-The 2nd level has to 2 Crescendos... And exspecially the 2nd one is hardcore. That's MAY to much for a single map, seriously.
-3 tanks in finale. That's not nice and you just don't exspect it...
A nice and well-detailed campaign.
However, it's definitely harder then a casual campaign should be.
Sadly, the 3 maps are quite short and quickly (not counting restarts) finished.
Still, fully worth a... 78
~You made it 3 maps when the first games was only 1.
~Ammo and supply's were nicely spread out.
~Bots stuck with us and did not get lost or stuck on anything
~Nav's seemed to be ok
~Fantastic looking campaign and the Dam looked and felt as though you were on one.
~ Just good fun!
~Just that messed up ending. Its not even that it is messed up. Its just that the normal 2 waves turned into 8 waves then a tank. It should be 2 waves a tank then another 2 waves then a tank. We played on Expert so it was really bad having 8 waves of zombies when you only expect 2 at a time.
~ Other than that nothing.
Just a really awesome Campaign, you worked hard and deserve a awesome rating. 91 for me because of that ending. But if you cut back on the hordes I will easily bump it up to at least a 99!
Gj on this and I hope to see more from you!
Good Lookin map
supplies well placed
lots of action
Awesome Poster one of the best I think
Crashing Plane! Nice touch looked good.
hmm now that Ive played it a couples times cant think of any!
Great campaign, there was never a dull moment. Lots of horde and special Infected although at times maybe too many specials. Take a look at the poster to figure out your rescue, first time I played I thought it took forever for rescue but I actually missed it, lol. Really well done map hope to see more from you.
really well made, werry many details.
Cons:if you play on Advanced there will spawn TOO many specials.. hard to beat on advanced.
Conclusion:a really good camain recomendet but play on normal difficultey please!
-very nice setting, really reminds me of l4d1
-nice placing of weapons
-nice finale, well decorated, feels like you're really there
-nice poster!!!
-a bit short, I played it for 30 mins.,and that's on advanced.
-When it's your first time to play the first chapter, you will get confused. You don't know what'll happen if you go down or you just stay there.
Overall, A very nice campaign. It's really good and offers great experience and gameplay. although it was a bit short and confusing, I really enjoyed it, and I recommend you download this map.
Good mapping concept
Fun
Repeatable
Finale took a little too long.
Conclusion:Overall I think it's a great map/campaign set. The finale in the end is a little long and seems a little too easy. The docktower way at the end of the dam seems like too much of a vantage point for those with snipers to pick off everything coming from a distance... even tanks.
super leveldesign
good playable
very funny
first map is too short
nothing
very very good campaign with lots of fun!
- Good visual specialy in begin
- Many zombie in easy , i can't imagine in expert X)
- not short for me
- final one bit long
- objects are they hiding?
A very good campagne , I need try they in versus !
-No bugs
-Manageable hordes(Advanced)
-Very detailed
-Amazing scenery in the finale
-Interesting idea to use 'Dam' as the map theme
-Nice saferoom designs
-Great messages that tell you how to start crescendo events
-Abundant items
-Beautiful poster
-Good campaign length
-Rescue area was unclear but relatively easy to get there
-Too easy to kite the tanks in finale
The poster gave me a good first impression of this map and its author. As I played, I saw detailed surroundings. I had a good feeling for this campaign. And then I loved the finale. I had looked down from above and a spectacular view awaited me. It was good seeing your own start point below. Gave me a sense of achievement. From start to end, this campaign kept setting new high standards and good impressions in my mind. On par with Death Aboard series. I highly recommend this.
Very creative
Shows you took your time making it
Fun to play with friends and even alone
NONE
Conclusion:Great campaign and a beautiful environment. I give a 100 and it deserves every point
- Very detailed.
- No lagg. (Soft map, not too much FPS)
- ORIGINAL ENVIRONMENT !!!
- Good creshendos.
- Hard finale. (I love the difficulty :D)
- I found only one "bug". At the fist level, we can see this is the end of the level, at the begining, when we climb on the hill on the right.
- It is a bit short (Diescraper Redux has 3 lvls too but it's longest), but when we don't have time enough to do an entire campaign, it's great !
An AMAZING campaign. I have been very surprised. I gonna share it with my friends and play on it often.
=> Maybe you should turn down the lights of the first lvl and add more spotlights on the Dam. It will apear more impressive.
Nice work !!!
Create campaign.
Nice textured
A lot of work was put in for sure.
Loved the plane :P
Little to short.
Length of first and second chapter was a little too off.
A must play campaign.
It Was Well Worked On The Crescendos Make Up For The 3 Maps Enough Zombie Spawns Nice Start And Endng Highly Detailed And it Is A Good Map
Cons:Got A Bit Confused Halfway Through I Walked Up And Down And Ended Up At The Same Place...
Conclusion:Overall This Map Still Needs Improvements
Great Conversion
Well Made crescendo events
nice amount of specials
Difficult (Thats a pro for me ;D)
Lack Of Witches
1st map short
The is medium sized map, whit a good load of action, and challenge (i had to restart so many times xD) its well made, polished, and no visible glitchs and bugs (on my hand at least).
JUST DOWNLOAD IT ;D
Long.
Very fun.
Great scenery.
Very long finale.
The dead tank on a rope.
Randomized HMG at the end of map 2.
Lack of medkits.
Very short first map.
Map 2 is very long.
Recommended. Very fun.

bug: map damit3
re-spawn point in killzone, so if I re-spawn a player, the player will be incaped and killed immediately in saferoom
