great & funny map, maybe Lou Saffire is a Chinese ? or he must stay in china for some time ~~

i think the soldiers can added more in this map, we can fight to the army and zombies together, that should be more fun !!!

Event where you have to get through the fence and run a gauntlet to the safe room is buggy- you can jump over it and bypass it, also the bots won't enter the area so it's hard to start it unless you luck out.
Finale is a little difficult

One of my favorite maps; very original, very nicely done.

Soldiers don't integrate well into the play experience.

I was originally going to give this map a harsher review, but upon a second play through, I realized that what we have here is a designer who's creativity and ambition far over reached their ability. I do not want to discourage this level of creativity or ambition, because that's how great things happen, so I will endeavor to give a critical review that shows what the designer could do to improve their work.

A prime example of what I'm talking about is the first map. It contains several large open areas which lack fine detail, yet are still so big and cluttered that there is a noticeable loss of frame rate. Nothing to make it unplayable, but enough that you can see a lack of understanding of level design for the Steam Engine.

Some of the new game play features are quite good. I especially like the option of turning cola bottles into Molotov Cocktails. Other features however aren't so well done. The Soldiers are the most glaring example. The idea of soldiers stuck in the apocalypse, shooting at anything that moves, and dropping weapons and supplies when killed, is a good one. The problem is that they aren't very well integrated into the game play experience. They have no musical cue, and no other indication of their location until you are getting shot by them. They do not shoot at, or even react to zombies within their field of fire, and are often positioned near wandering zombies, neither of which respond to each other. They only have one animation, which is to stand straight up and shoot, or crouch down behind cover and wait. When crouched, their head is clearly visible, however shooting them has no effect until they stand back up and shoot again. Because of this, the soldiers feel like an afterthought as opposed to being a full part of the game.

All in all, this is a very creative endeavor, however the flaws seriously detract from the experience, and serve to pull the player out of any feeling of immersion. I would definitely encourage the designer to work on their level design skills, because they clearly aren't lacking in imagination. An excellent attempt that has none the less fallen short.

Very Good and Very Original Campaign set in Beijing, probably one of the few campaigns that could give you a lot of fun [Depends on You] since it's sort of different.

-People's Armed Police (my guess) shooting at you
-VERY CREATIVE finale
-Decent bot navigation
-KARAOKE BAR!
-Last, but not least, Tiananmen Square Massacre ending but this time it's zombies!!!!

-Lack of ammunition in the second map

Awesome campaign! A must play for Left 4 Dead players!

- Intro and outro
- Propeller in map 1 can hurt survivors
- Good atmosphere
- Scenery
- Spa area in map 3
- Soldiers
- Decent bot navigation
- Finale is creative
- Easy to follow

- No ammo in map 2 when fighting the tanks in the street
- No stats

Decent campaign, full of originality.

+ Nice Oriental Witch Skin( I love it and she's sexy lol)
+ Plenty of Supplies if play co-op with best dedicated server

+ Bots are stupid not to save you if play Co-Op in Nico JP server
+ Soldiers are too overpowered hard to kill
+ Too many panic events

Overall I think I will play this in Co-Op Local server rather than best dedicated because too many spitters, hunters, jockeys plus chargers but still this map is good. Try it I personally recommend if you think you can own those soldiers in there.
