Released version 2.0 on L4Dmaps.com
This is the same version that was hosted on L4Dmods.
Dismember the Alamo is a survival map based on the Alamo Drafthouse Lake Creek location in Austin, TX.
The map is a 1:1 scale recreation of the entire theater including areas normally inaccessible to the public.
-Great attention to detail and decoration
-Excellent survival launch switch
-Immersive map that makes it a MUST HAVE for survival players
-It wasn't released with L4D1 when the game was made at first
-It's still not on L4D2 :D
This map was loads of fun. Plenty of different places to defend from, the kitchen, different theatre rooms, the lobby, bathrooms, etc. The custom posters and references to movies like "Night of the Living Dead" are a great addition. Ammo and supplies are places around the map in good locations.
Please consider making a L4D2 version. This would be a GREAT addition.
hey I like the textures/ models you have made. so getting to the point I'd be honored to have you join my group. reply with your steam Id if you're interested
Great detail.
Lots of fun.
Large area to explore.
Hordes attack from multiple places.
Spaced out supplies.
Have to explore to find items.
Nice spot for a survival map.
Really easy. I got 11:31.07 on my first try with all bots.
Ammo is too close to good spots. I could just camp, and have no problems. For example, the room right above the trigger point is a great spot, with ammo right inside of it.
Special infected are useless. Too easy to kill them before they can attack.
It's a great map, but a little bit easy. Other than that, I found that the infected could drop down from the ceiling, rather than just the walls, which posed as a small challenge at first. All I could suggest, is try to make ammo piles further away from small rooms, and possibly make more areas for special infected to attack from.
I hope you make a campaign with this type of map in it.
Hi! Downloaded & loved the map, but you must know about a polygon/shape thing you accidentally made a little off.
If you look at the place where people would get in line and speak to the ticket/money takers, there's a shape designed to be the speaker thingy which you talk into-
right there-what should basically be an octagon or something has one pointed edge jutting out in an angle.
Basically, look at the round speaker-type things and you'll see a shape not fully correct.
Please email me at flynn1978 @ yahoo dot com and let me know if you find what I'm describing-I can even send you a pic through email so you can find the shape and fix the design.

Cool
ITS THE ALAMO!!!!!!
Many places to hold out
Creative
Awesome survival start
Nothing
Conclusion:I loved this map. It was easier than others but isn't that the point. If you can find a good spot to camp, do it, and survive as much as you can. Love this map and that's why it gets a 100 from me.
