Lots of changes updates and revisions. New sections to all 5 maps. New Challenge added to map 4 now all 5 maps have a challenge at the end. I went through all comments and fixed everything mentioned.

1- The Finale was not starting on some servers. Corrected
2- the sentry guns were acting stupid. Ive increased the AI level up so they now actually protect you.
The finale is now fun. to make it harder set the settings harder.

Change are in scripting only . the next update in a month will be a major update covering all the comments posted . watch for it.

HDR is now working. Thanks to Neo Nerd. who pointed me in the right direction.

HDR is now fully implemented in all 3 maps currently released.
HDR Sky box has also been implemented
Fixed a few of the L4d1 textures that don't like HDR
Fixed a couple of L4d textures that don't like Overlays Corrected.

If anyone finds anything else please let me know location and nature of the problem.

PS: now that HDR works ill return to the next maps which i expect will be ready in a couple of weeks.

I Think the HDR problem has been fixed. It was only occuring on some graphics cards so i wasnt aware there was a problem. those who play test for me all had no problems. Let me know if anyone is still having shiny surfaces everywhere.

First Off thanks to all Those who have given feedback to me maps.
I'll Continue adding and revising these maps over the next few months . till complete.

Ive added a whole load of Textures and new surfaces etc,. i smoothed out some of the first two maps and added lots of new elements. I also added a complete new map BUNKER Part1. I have been wanting to make an ending on a map like this for a long time. Those who have played it have given a lot of favorable comments. Hope everyone likes it.

just remember each map is going to be slightly harder than the one before and i want them to all contain unique game play . Things not seen on any other maps.

And i should warn you that these maps are intended for hard core gamers.!!! My Local Play Testers Love them and keep asking for harder maps (More Zombies) After looking over the Scripts that come with L4D2 I didn't find any that fitted me maps so i started writing custom scripts . these allow me to instantly spawn new zombies as others are killed off.

Looked over the Messages and made all the changes that were sensible thanks to those who gave good suggestions.
I also went through and did a general clean and detail run. new rooms and areas. cleaned up a few spots of rough logic.

finally figured out how to stop BOTS from jumping from long ladders. :)
and made them a bit more intelligent in there decision making.

the Crescendo at the end of section 2 has a little more time between attacks and the infected come from in front rather than behind. FANTAZMAGORIA suggestion. Thks
I based it much on the mall crescendo scripts as these are well liked.


DarthLysis thanks for the idea i made it a bit more open so your feeling of claustrophobia should be gone.

Skimpot. i worked on making the bots a bit more intelligent in there manners. they seemed to jump into the air a lot. so iv'e managed to fix this. it was a hard one as it meant fighting the Director. They don't die so easy now.

I should have put a note on the header that the game is meant for experienced players. as im getting a lot of kids complaining that its Crap. ??? I guess if they cant play its my fault ?? ;)

There is an easy setting for those who need it.

Anyway. I'm developing maps #2 and #3 at the same time and will post them as soon as a playable version available.

I have one set of play-testers telling me its too easy " make it harder" and another telling me its too hard. Iv'e decided to make it middle of the road that way it should be playable for all. and if players need they can use the easy/hard settings.

First two maps are in an advanced state of completeness. will fix or modify if the need arises. have undergone a good amount of play testing.

have a good working layout for the remaining maps and will polish them over the next few months. ill add each map after a good amount of testing.

First release works well according to initial feedback. only problem is Link Website is not pointing to correct website . will remedy that and repost under same version number as there will be no additional changes.

waiting for 24 hours to pass before website change can be uploaded.

Completed fixes for V2 minor stuff.

-Fixed music on second map sounds smoother and better

-fixed re-spawn on second map sometimes it would re-spawn to end depending where you would die

-added ammo in checkpoint between map one and two

-corrected website reference

-Rendered in HDR Looks Better

I hadn't played this in a long time. In fact, I'd deleted all my Add-ons and was starting all over again. I downloaded this and five others. While I really like playing it, I had a habit of dying three quarters of the way through some long long map and would have to start all over again. That got to be really tiresome after awhile. On Easy with bots. They had a habit of dying too. Sometimes it took a lot of work and restarting just to get to that 3/4 point. Oh well, lots of fun while it stayed fun.

And...at the start of the second map, where you need to shoot out all the floor to expose the pipes to walk across...then you go to the room, take a left and go down where you can break out the door and get some more rifles...

That section of the floor eventually drops down a bit (why and when I don't know, it just does) and a ladder is exposed. Sometimes I can go down the ladder, most times not. Sometimes the floor below breaks out a bit and me and the bots can jump down, sometimes not. There is no continuity there.

So, and I know this is a stretch, can somebody tell me what specifically will activate me being able to go down that ladder? Is there some sequence of events that need to take place to enable that ladder (to then go all the way down to the revolving railroad track room).

Or is this just some glitch that never got fixed?

- andrenaline rush on several ocasions

- loved the witches in map 4
- whooa turrets

Cons:

- trap boxes far between
- laggy last level

Conclusion:

best hardcore map i played this month, really nice work and effort put into this

Pros:

Twinkies, lost of'em
Very clever map designs
Nice traps layouts
I love remote turrets

Cons:

laggy last two chapters

Conclusion:

The last two chapters, were very very laggy for everybody. We tryed playing'em on 3 different servers, just to confirm it was an map performance issue. And the results were the same.
A shame, cause overall its an nice campaign.

But the last two chapters perforance issues, just kills it for not getting an pure 10 socre.

Just one comment...the bots' inability to pick up health packs in the safe houses is a deal-breaker for me.

Pros:

+ heilarious easter eggz
+ cool story bro (no but really cool story)
+ uniek mechanics
+ owwwwww snap turrets
+ twinkies like in zombehland))
+ trap map as well as regular so thats cool
+ element of surprise loads of times loved it by the balls
+ heaps to exlore

Cons:

- respaawn boxes were far apart so being dead was really boring
- do u wonder if the survivors never wanted to go back after they found out that the zombie bunker was overrun? bc a bunker thats filled w/ people that turned into bees is a death trap they were lucky to be contacted by that dude with webcam
- oh yeah on 1 hand it was a zombie bunker but on the other hand it seemed like maybe they experimented on bees there ( they brought in tanks and witches in cages, no? )

Conclusion:

koooooooooooooooool beanz
