Well placed supplies
Well thought out hold out points
Excellent map design
And stuff that the others have already mentioned
Most of them are already stated by the others
Conclusion:This is one of the best survival maps i have played. It has a lot of eye candy, with good gameplay to match. Although the hold out points are sort of easy to defend, being overrun is still a possibility if you get careless or get too occupied by a tank. And as Golden Android stated, the map does indeed encourage both styles of gameplay.
Hoping to see more survival maps of this quality from you. I've always preferred survival over campaign
Good atmosphere
Realistic house design
Amazing implementation of weather
None that i can think of
Conclusion:I've always liked maps with rain on it, so this was an instant download. And hell it didn't disappoint. I love the design of the house. Its pretty realistic and hell it looks like a place i'd love to relax in. The rain and thunder going on is somewhat relaxing for me. Then again, i've always found rain to be relaxing.
I can honestly just waste time admiring the atmosphere of this map.
Awesome job on this one bud. Hope to see more survival maps from you.
-Awesome atmosphere
-Intense final chapter
-Love the custom models (bludgeoning the infected to death with the ham)
-Nice attention to detail
-And stuff that most of the other users already stated
-Bots can act stupid (Won't go in a chopper, wander off, stand around in the middle of a gauntlet event, stare at me when a dozen infected is clawing at my back, ETC)
-There was no clear indication that your supposed to keep running at the plane crescendo event on the 3rd map. I thought the alarm would shut itself off. An indication that your supposed to run would be nice.
Its a fun map, hell of challenge. Loved the last part, i had to replace my magnum and smack my way to the top with the frying pan. Bots can drag you down though. As stated on my cons, their stupidity is legendary. They wouldn't keep running when we we're inside the building to get to the chopper. And that's when the tank came. Left them behind and when two of them finally came up, they won't get into the chopper. So i had to bludgeon them to death with the frying pan which killed Rochelle and left Ellis bleeding in the ground.
Didn't know your supposed to use the right mouse button to use the ham as i keep dropping it whenever i try to use the left mouse button. But once i found out it was hell of a melee weapon to use.
One thing i would like to see on an update is survival. As for me, what increases the replay value of a map is its survival mode. As i usually can't be arsed to go through the campaign again once i beat it.
P.S. That pool area would make for a good survival map.
Surreal atmosphere
Creative levels
Great concept
Challenging but not too much
Bots don't get their first aid kits and have trouble using the ladders on the first map
Been a fan of your maps since Counter Strike, so i kinda knew what to expect from this map. Randomness. But after playing through and finishing it, it didn't look random anymore. I don't wanna spoil anything so I'm just gonna say that the title and the fact that the last level is called "wake" will make sense if you finish the campaign. Wasn't expecting the ending at all. When the rescue came, it made me wonder why our rescue is a......well again i don't wanna spoil it.
All in all, despite the bot issue, i give it a 100. The experience the campaign gives you just overshadows that tiny flaw. Too bad this is the last map we'll see from you.
Great design (Loved the still playing Night of the living dead movie)
Caters to all types of players (except glitchers, thank god for that)
Plenty of camping spots
Huge amount of weapons
Jukebox
None that i can see
Conclusion:One of the best survival map for me. Love the fact that the map allows for both camping and run and gun play style. Now if only i can find players who doesn't rely on glitches on survival maps.
Good atmosphere
Unexpected scares
No direction/hint as to where you need to go
Camouflaged ladders
2nd map is close to impossible (finished it on my 2nd try though)
Its a well presented map. The map really gives off that creepy vibe. Didn't expect to get scared by a L4D map, as i've played a couple of supposedly scary maps and didn't get scared at all. Unlike others, for me the darkness is just alright. Serves a purpose of giving the ruins a haunted feeling. I got one instance where i jumped off of what i thought was the right way only to find my way back to where i came from. But that's a plus for me, actually.
The map will also test your patience (luckily, i'm the patient type)as you will get lost, mainly because of the cleverly camouflaged ladders, and get attacked by an endless wave at one part of the map, which makes the already difficult job of finding the way out even more difficult.
Despite the flaws, i give it an 80. Cause despite the almost obnoxious difficulty of the 2nd map, i did enjoy it. Just try to ease up on the challenges next time.
P.S. Don't even try to play this on the Last Man on Earth game mode. It ain't pretty. It might get easier as part of what makes this map harder is the endless horde. But it'll get extra scary. Especially if you play that game mode on this map on your first try.
Heed my warning, you might wet yourself.

-Amazing eye-candy
Cons:-Non-linear levels
And stuff that others have already mentioned
-Bots act retarded when it comes to ladders
Conclusion:-Approaching the ladder leading to the generator in map 2 from a specific spot will have your character hanging on a ledge
-Excessive amount of ammo piles on map 3
-Lack of guide and indications
-Map 3 is quite bright in comparison to its setting
-L4D 1 survivors (although that's just me. I'm one of the few that prefer the L4D 2 survivors, and i won't take points off cause of it)
Its a very well done map. I've played it with a friend and we would sometimes stop to appreciate the scenery. Playing it with a bot can be grueling. As i've mentioned above, they have trouble using ladders. There was also a lack of indications. I never knew that the medkits on the ambulance safehouse on map 1 won't carry on to map 2, nor do i have any idea that we we're supposed to go back to the cable car at the start of map 3. It also wasn't indicated that the point of stopping and going underground near the end of map 2 was to enable the cable car again. Originally, i thought we only needed to turn on the generator for the door.
Also, map 3 DEFINITELY needs to be set at night. Preferably pitch black like it is in Siren: Blood curse (If that was indeed your inspiration for the map). The creepy setting of map 3 was wasted on the bright yellow lighting.
Overall, its a very well done map considering its just a beta. Can't wait to see what the finished campaign is like. Here's also hoping that you add survival to it as well. As i've mentioned about a week ago, i rarely to never play an already finished campaign. To me, a custom campaign has a better replay value if it also comes with survival.
